The Tesla Model X is a full-size luxury crossover electric vehicle (EV) produced by Tesla, Inc. It was unveiled on September 29, 2015, and started production in July 2015. The Model X is built on the same platform as the Model S, but with a unique body style that features falcon-wing rear doors.
