The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was produced from 1929 to 1935 and marked a significant update to the original Phantom I. The new model retained its predecessor's 7,373 cc six-cylinder engine but featured improved performance, thanks in part to a higher compression ratio.
Key differences between the Phantom I and Phantom II included an upgraded transmission system with a synchromesh gear on third and fourth gears for smoother shifting, as well as improvements to the braking system.
