The Porsche 911 (992) is a seventh-generation of the iconic Porsche 911 sports car. It was unveiled in September 2019 and features significant updates to the previous generation's design, technology, and performance.
Design
The new 911 has a more aggressive and dynamic appearance compared to its predecessor. The front fascia features a revised spoiler, a new air intake system, and LED headlights with a characteristic light bar. The sides of the car have been restyled with a more prominent shoulder line and larger wheels (up to 21 inches). At the rear, the spoiler is slightly larger, and the exhaust pipes are now located on either side of the diffuser.

The 911 also comes equipped with an updated eight-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic. The latter features revised gearing for improved performance and efficiency. Porsche claims that the rear-wheel-drive Turbo model can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive variant takes 3.4 seconds.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the 911 (992) boasts a more modern and luxurious cabin with revised trim materials and updated ergonomics. The center console now features a high-resolution touchscreen display (10.9 inches in the Turbo S model), which controls the infotainment system, navigation, and various other car settings. A new Sport Chrono package offers additional driving modes and customization options.
