The Peugeot 5008 is a compact MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) produced by French automaker Peugeot. It was first introduced in 1996 and has since undergone two major revisions.
First Generation (1996-2001)
- Based on the same platform as the Peugeot 406 sedan
- Available with a range of petrol engines, including a 2.0L 16V unit producing 150bhp
- Optional all-wheel drive system called "4x4"
- Spacious interior with sliding rear seats and a large boot capacity (555 liters)
- Available in various trim levels, including the sporty GTI version
Second Generation (2001-2010)
- Larger and more spacious than its predecessor
- New 2.2L HDi diesel engine producing 163bhp and 340Nm of torque
- Optional V6 petrol engine producing 187bhp

Third Generation (2010-2021)
- More angular and dynamic exterior design
- Available with a range of efficient diesel engines, including the 2.0L HDi e-HDi unit producing 163bhp
- Optional 1.6L THP petrol engine producing 165bhp
- Improved interior features, including premium materials and advanced connectivity options (e.g., navigation, Bluetooth)
- Larger boot capacity (660 liters) with optional sliding rear seats
Fourth Generation (2021-present)
- Completely new design, with a more aggressive and modern appearance
- Based on the EMP2 platform shared with other Peugeot models (e.g., 508, 3008)
- Available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, including the 1.5L e-HDi unit producing 131bhp
- Advanced safety features, including Level 2 autonomous driving capability
- Revised interior design with improved ergonomics and premium materials
- Larger boot capacity (640 liters) with optional sliding rear seats
