The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 S is a high-performance version of the Aventador supercar, introduced in 2015 as a limited-edition model. It was the first time Lamborghini had created an 'S' variant of the Aventador.
Design and Features:
The Aventador LP 700-4 S features aggressive front and rear bumpers with larger air intakes for improved cooling.
New, more angular side skirts and a revised rear diffuser are also part of the design overhaul.
Larger, more distinctive exhaust outlets on both sides, and an even more pronounced spoiler at the rear.
Engine and Performance:
The S is powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine as the standard Aventador, with output increased to 740 horsepower (544 kW) @ 8,400 rpm.
Torque remains at 690 Nm (509 lb-ft), available from 3,000 to 4,700 rpm.
With a dry weight of just 1,575 kg (3,475 lbs), the S achieves a top speed of over 350 km/h (217 mph) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
Interior:
The cabin has been upgraded with an Alcantara-covered dashboard and door panels, while new carbon fiber trim elements add visual appeal.
Rear seats were not part of the standard design but could be optionally added for a four-seat configuration, though passenger comfort would have been compromised in such a scenario.
Production and Price:
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 S was produced from 2015 to 2017 with an extremely limited production run.
Pricing varied by market, but it was well into the seven-figure range, with some markets offering it for nearly $1 million.
