Sharing my initial impressions of the new 200 series LC's performance and features after taking delivery yesterday.

I'm torn between the LX450 and the GX470, both of which I've always been drawn to. The LX450's rugged off-road capability and V8 power are enticing, but it's getting up there in age and maintenance costs might be a concern. On the other hand, the GX470 offers better on-road manners and a more modern design, but its capabilities in rough terrain aren't as well-established.

I've been driving my 2007 Land Cruiser with the 4.7L V8 for a while now, but lately it's developed this weird knocking noise when accelerating or decelerating. The noise is more pronounced when cold, and seems to come from the engine area. I've checked the fluids, oil pressure, and belts, but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

I'm curious if anyone has upgraded their 4WD system to a locking center differential on their Toyota. I've been looking into it for my 2015 Tacoma and want to know if anyone's done it successfully. Are there any kits available or DIY methods? Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Exploring options for aftermarket air suspension on my Toyota, seeking advice and experiences from fellow owners with similar setups.

I've got a rust issue on my 80 series and I'm looking for suggestions on how to repair it. The rust is located on the driver's side floor pan, just above the axle. It's not too bad yet but I don't want to wait until it gets worse. Anybody have experience with this sort of thing?

I'm an avid off-roader with a 2022 Toyota LC and I'm curious to know how others protect their vehicles from rock chips and scratches on the trail. What methods have you used or recommend for minimizing damage to the paint and glass? Do any of you use under-rail protection, wheel chocks, or other gear to safeguard your rig?
