The Ferrari 550 is a grand tourer produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. It was the first production car to be based on the TestaRossa (Barchetta) chassis and features a more practical, four-seat design.

The 550's chassis is made of steel, with an aluminum front trunk lid.
The body is made of lightweight aluminum, with a removable hardtop and a soft top.
It has a length of 4,565 mm (179.7 in), width of 1,840 mm (72.4 in) and height of 1,245 mm (49.0 in).
Wheelbase measures 2,710 mm (106.7 in).
Engine and Performance
The 550 is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 engine, producing 485 horsepower at 6,500 rpm.
It features a five-speed manual transmission with an overdrive top gear.
The 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes around 4.8 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h (199 mph).
Interior
The interior is designed for comfort and practicality, featuring four seats and a relatively spacious cabin.
It comes with a driver's airbag, power steering, and a seven-inch LCD screen.
Optional features include leather upholstery, wood trim, and a six-disc CD changer.
Production Numbers
2,414 units of the Ferrari 550 were produced between 1996 and 2002.
Special Editions
A limited-edition model, known as the 550 Barchetta, was produced in 2000. It features a retractable hardtop instead of a removable soft top.
A special edition called the 550 Maranello was created to celebrate the brand's 60th anniversary.
Warranty and Maintenance
Ferrari offered an eight-year warranty on all components and five years for the paintwork.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
