The Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang is a limited-production variant of the Bugatti Veyron, produced in 2006. It was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Bugatti's return in 1998 and was also intended as a tribute to Ettore Bugatti.
Powering the Pur Sang is an 8.0-liter W16 engine, producing 987 horsepower (732 kW) at 6,700 rpm. This unit sends power to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Veyron's advanced technology includes a four-stage turbocharging system and direct fuel injection.
The Pur Sang features Bugatti's classic shape with some minor variations for better performance. Its exterior is made from aluminum and carbon fiber, reducing weight while maintaining strength. The interior is handcrafted and trimmed in high-quality materials like leather and wood.
Production of the Veyron Pur Sang was limited to just five units worldwide. Each car comes with a unique identity number, making them highly exclusive collectibles.
The Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 267 mph (430 km/h).
