The BMW 6 Series is a range of grand tourers produced by German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW. It was first introduced in 1977 as a 630CS and went through several generations until its discontinuation in 2019.
First Generation (E24) (1977-1987)

Third Generation (E38/640i, E65) (2003-2019)
- Marked the return of the 6 Series after a 15-year hiatus
- Powered by inline-six and V8 engines from BMW's M division, with outputs ranging from 255 to 547 horsepower
- Featured a larger cabin, improved handling, and innovative design elements such as pop-up headlights and gull-wing doors on some models
- Available as a coupe or convertible
