BMW, 1 Series

The BMW 1 Series is a compact luxury car produced by the German automaker BMW since 2004. It was the first front-wheel drive (FWD) BMW model to be sold in the United States and marked the company's entry into the FWD segment.

First Generation (E87/E90, 2004-2013)

The original 1 Series was launched as a replacement for the 3 Series Compact in Europe and was later introduced in North America as a 2007 model. Initially available with three- or four-cylinder engines, it featured a more compact body style compared to its predecessor.
