The Aston Martin Vantage is a high-performance sports car produced by British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin. The first generation of the Vantage was introduced in 1975 and was based on the DBS platform. It featured a 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 144 horsepower.
In 1992, Aston Martin released a new Vantage model, which was built on the same platform as the Virage. This car boasted a 6.3-liter V12 engine generating 380 horsepower. The first generation of the V8-powered Vantage was launched in 2005, powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 380 horsepower and featuring a seven-speed manual transmission.
