Reliability of Volvo Engines and Transmission Systems

I've owned two Volvos, both with over 200k miles, and neither has ever left me stranded. Their engines and transmissions are truly built to last, a testament to Volvo's commitment to reliability and quality engineering.

I've owned my V70 R since '01 and it's been an absolute bullet. The 2.5L turbo engine has logged over 200k miles with nary a hiccup, same goes for the AWD system and five-speed auto - impressive consistency indeed!

I've owned my 2015 S60 T6 for over 150,000 miles now and I'm still driving on the original engine and transmission. Not a single problem with either of them. My neighbor owns a 2007 XC90 with an V8 engine and it's been trouble-free as well. The Volvo reputation for reliability is well-deserved in my opinion.
