2015 VW Jetta TDI: Is it worth the money?

I'm considering purchasing a used 2015 VW Jetta TDI and I'd love to hear from fellow owners about their experiences with this model. Has anyone had issues with fuel efficiency, reliability, or maintenance costs? Is the TDI engine still worth it despite the dieselgate controversy? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
