Volkswagen Arteon Interior: Is it as Luxurious as Advertised?

I recently had a chance to sit in an Arteon and was underwhelmed by the interior. The materials seemed decent but I didn't find it as luxurious as advertised. Anyone else have similar thoughts or do they genuinely think the Arteon's interior is on par with European luxury brands?
