Upgrading Suspension on My Supra A40 for Better Handling

I'm looking to upgrade my Supra A40's suspension for improved handling and stability, particularly on twisty roads. I've heard of coilovers and sway bars being popular upgrades but want to hear from others who have done similar modifications. What worked best for you and what were the results?
