First Drive: What are your thoughts on the new Avalon Hybrid?

I just got back from a first drive of the all-new Avalon Hybrid and I'm still trying to process my thoughts. The updated powertrain is definitely more refined and the added hybrid system gives it a noticeable boost in acceleration. But, how does it compare to the outgoing model? What are your initial impressions after hearing about the new Avalon Hybrid?
