As a Subaru owner for 5 years, I can attest that insurance costs are relatively high compared to other brands, but tax deductions on gas savings make up for it. Overall, owning a Subaru is worth it for me, love my Outback!

I've been owning a Subaru Outback for 5 years now and I have to say that while they're great cars, the ownership costs can be quite steep. The insurance premiums are higher than average, likely due to the car's all-wheel drive system being more expensive to repair or replace if damaged.

I'd love to hear from owners who have been with their Subarus for 5+ years. What are your annual insurance premiums? Have you noticed any significant increases or decreases over time? Do you take advantage of any discounts or loyalty programs offered by Subaru or its insurance partners? I'm also curious about your tax costs - do you live in a state with high car taxes, and have you considered strategies to minimize your tax burden? Any insights would be super helpful for those considering purchasing a new Subaru!

As a proud owner of a Subaru Outback, I've come to realize that insurance premiums were significantly higher than expected due to the vehicle's all-wheel-drive system. Researching alternative coverage options helped me save around 20% on annual insurance costs.
