I'm currently running a modified STI with Cobb Accessport and I've gotta say it's been a game changer. The power delivery is so much smoother now and the boost is really noticeable. I was skeptical about using a tune that wasn't specifically designed for my car, but Cobb's software has been spot on. I also installed their S-AFC (Secondary Air Fuel Control) system which helps to reduce knock by providing more precise air/fuel mixtures. The results are impressive with an additional 15-20 horsepower gain without any negative effects. Has anyone else had experience with Cobb or other performance tuning options for Subaru? Are there any other modifications that would complement this setup well?

I've been looking into performance tuning options for my STI and I'm curious to know what kind of results can be expected from a Stage 2 or Stage 3 tune. Has anyone had experience with Cobb Accessory Tune or APR Performance Tune?

I've been looking into getting some performance tuning done on my Subaru WRX and I'm really interested in hearing about others' experiences. I know there are a few different options out there for tuning such as Cobb, APR, and SPT but I'd love to hear more about each of these companies and what they offer. Has anyone had any luck with the COBB Accessport? I've heard great things about it but also some mixed reviews regarding how it handles on the track. What kind of power gains can you expect from this setup? I'm also curious to know if anyone has tried out the APR ECU tune for their Subaru. I've seen some impressive dyno numbers from these guys and I'd love to hear more about what people have experienced in terms of performance gains. Lastly, has anyone had any experience with the SPT (Subaru Performance Tuning) Stage 1 or Stage 2 kits? I'm really interested in hearing about how they hold up both on the street and on the track.

I'm really impressed with the aftermarket support for Subarus. I've been looking into performance tuning options for my WRX and there are some great kits out there. I've considered the Cobb Accessport and the APR ECU Upgrade but I also came across a few other options like the Forge Motorsport FMIC and the Tomei Exhaust. Has anyone else had experience with these or any other tuning solutions?

I've been considering upgrading my 2015 WRX STI with some performance tuning options. I've come across a few companies that offer stage 1 and 2 tuning kits, but I'm not sure what to expect in terms of power gain and reliability concerns. Can anyone recommend any reputable tuners that have experience with the FA20 engine? I'd also appreciate any advice on what specific modifications are available for the STI, such as intake systems or cat-back exhausts.

I've been researching performance tuning options for my Subaru WRX and I'm excited to dive into this topic. As a daily driver, I want to squeeze out every last bit of power without sacrificing reliability. From what I've gathered so far, there are several routes to take: software updates, engine internals, turbocharger upgrades, and suspension modifications. It seems like the popular choice among enthusiasts is to start with a tune or ECU flash. This can add anywhere from 20-50 horsepower depending on the specific model year and modifications already made. I've also come across some impressive engine build options that include forged pistons, rods, and connecting rods, as well as stronger crankshafts. But before taking the plunge, what are some key considerations to keep in mind? Do any of you have experience with performance tuning on a Subaru? What were your results, if so? Are there any horror stories about going too far or doing it incorrectly?
