I think people often overlook the Octavia vRS as it's overshadowed by its VW Golf GTI cousin, but in reality, it offers a lot of performance for less money and is a great option for those who want a hot hatch on a budget.

I'm a bit surprised that people aren't talking more about the design of the new Skoda Superb. I think it's really improved in terms of its sleek and modern look. The LED headlights are particularly well-done and give the car a sophisticated appearance. I also appreciate how they've made some tweaks to improve airflow around the car, which should result in better fuel efficiency. That being said, I do wish they would focus on making the infotainment system more user-friendly. As it stands now, it can be quite finicky and sometimes freezes up.

I've always thought that the Octavia's facelift was a bit of an overkill. The old design had some character, but the new one looks like every other mid-size sedan out there. It's just so... safe. As for the Karoq, I'm not sure if it's because I've always been a fan of the Yeti's rugged charm, but the Karoq feels too soft and rounded to me. The interior is nice, don't get me wrong, but it looks like they've sacrificed some of that off-road capability in favor of more 'mainstream' appeal. And let's not even get started on the Superb's interior materials. I know it's a luxury car and all, but come on, the fake wood trim and plastic dashboard look so cheap compared to other European rivals. It's like they're trying to make up for something with the amount of chrome and creases they've added elsewhere. Sorry, Skoda fans, I'm just being honest!

I think it's unfair to say that all current Skodas are bland and uninspired. I recently had the chance to drive a Karoq and was pleasantly surprised by its handling and interior quality. The design may not be as flashy as some of its competitors but it has a certain understated charm. That being said, I do think that Skoda needs to take more risks with their models. The Kodiaq is a great car but it's not exactly pushing the boundaries of what an SUV should be. A more bold and daring approach to design would make their cars stand out in a crowded market. I also think that some people have unfairly maligned the Octavia as being too conservative, when in fact its practicality and reliability are huge strengths. It may not win any awards for style but it's a solid choice for those who want a reliable family car.

I think its unfair to judge the current Octavia as just being "okay" when it has been praised by many critics for its comfortable ride and generous equipment. The Karoq's interior design may not be as flashy as some other models in its class, but its practicality and spaciousness make up for that. I also believe the Superb is getting a bit too old, it was great when first launched but now there are better options out there that offer more modern tech and features.
