I've always had a soft spot for Skodas, their practicality and reliability won me over initially. Now I appreciate their unique design flair and value for money too, definitely an underrated brand in my book.

I used to view Skodas as cheap and unreliable but after owning my Octavia for 5 years I've had a very positive experience with it's reliability, features and overall performance.

I have to say that my perception of Skoda has shifted significantly since I first got behind the wheel of an Octavia in 2013. Back then, I viewed it as a cheap and cheerful alternative to more established European brands. But over the years, I've come to appreciate the value for money, reliability and features that Skoda offers. The Karoq's introduction also marked a turning point for me - its blend of practicality, comfort and style made me realize that you don't have to sacrifice quality to get a good price. And let's be honest, the recent design updates have made their cars look much more appealing than they used to. Now I see Skoda as a genuine alternative to other mainstream brands, rather than just a budget option. The brand has matured and improved significantly, offering a product range that caters to a wide audience without compromising on quality or features.

Initially I had a very low view of Skoda, seeing them as cheap, bland, and unrefined vehicles. However, as my budget became more limited after having children, I started to take another look at Skoda as a potential option for our family car needs. After some research and test drives, we ended up purchasing a Skoda Octavia which has been a pleasant surprise. The quality of the interior and exterior is much better than I expected, and it's had very few issues over the years. In fact, it now feels like one of the most reliable cars in our fleet. This experience has definitely changed my opinion on Skoda as a brand - they offer good value for money without compromising too much on quality or reliability.

I have to say that my perception of Skoda has undergone quite a significant shift in recent years. When I first started driving, I thought Skodas were cheap and not exactly built with the best quality in mind. They were often seen as a last resort for those who couldn't afford better brands. However, after test-driving several newer models, including the Octavia and Karoq, I was pleasantly surprised by their refinement, features, and overall driving experience. The company's investment in improving design, engineering, and safety standards has clearly paid off. Now, I think Skoda is a solid choice for those looking for value-for-money without sacrificing too much on the quality front. They offer spacious interiors, decent fuel efficiency, and some really clever design touches that set them apart from more established marques. Of course, there's still room for improvement in areas like reliability and customer service, but overall, I think Skoda has come a long way and deserves consideration by anyone looking for a reliable, affordable ride.
