Do Skodas hold their value well?

I've owned a Skoda Octavia for over 5 years now and I've been impressed with how well it's held its value. They also seem to hold onto their resale value better than some other makes in the same price bracket which makes them a good choice if you're looking to buy a car with long-term value.
