Based on various studies and market data, it appears that Skodas generally retain around 40-50% of their original purchase price after three years, which is relatively comparable to other European car brands in this segment.

I've owned a Skoda Octavia for over 5 years now and I've been impressed with how well it's held its value. Despite being an older model, I was able to sell it for a decent price when I traded it in for a newer car. I think the reason is that Skodas have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their reliability, spaciousness and affordability. They also seem to hold onto their resale value better than some other makes in the same price bracket which makes them a good choice if you're looking to buy a car with long-term value.

I've owned a Skoda Octavia for 5 years now and I can confidently say that it has retained its value surprisingly well. After purchasing the car for around €18,000, I was able to sell it for nearly €15,000 when I upgraded to a newer model. Considering its age and mileage, I think that's a pretty respectable figure. The Skoda brand as a whole seems to be gaining popularity in recent years, which could be contributing to the higher resale values.
