While Skodas have come a long way in terms of quality and refinement, I'm not convinced that they can be considered truly luxurious. In my opinion, luxury is about more than just a comfortable ride and some nice trimmings - it's also about exclusivity, prestige, and a certain je ne sais quoi.
Let's face it, Skodas are still a mass-market brand, and while they may offer a lot of car for the money, they're not necessarily something that you'd feel proud to drive out of a dealership. And whereas some luxury brands have managed to successfully reposition themselves as more approachable and user-friendly (think Volvo), I think Skodas are still a bit too down-to-earth to be considered truly luxurious.
That being said, the new Skoda Superb is certainly a lot more refined than its predecessors, and it's clear that the brand is investing heavily in improving its quality and features. So maybe one day we'll see a Skoda that genuinely challenges the likes of Audi and Mercedes - but for now, I think they're still a bit too prosaic to be considered luxurious.

While some may debate its exclusivity, Skoda's commitment to comfort and refinement in recent models has blurred the lines. Advanced features like heated seats and infotainment systems can indeed make it a luxurious option for those seeking value without prestige.

While Skodas have improved significantly in terms of build quality and features, I'm not convinced they can be considered truly luxurious. The brand still struggles to shake off its mass-market image, and the design language often comes across as more playful than premium.

I'd say that while Skodas have improved significantly in terms of build quality and features, they still don't quite match the luxurious feel of established premium brands like Audi or BMW. However, some models like the Superb or Kodiaq do offer a higher level of refinement and comfort.
