I've owned two Renaults in the past, a Clio and an Mégane, and unfortunately, both experienced significant issues with their transmissions. The first one had to be replaced under warranty, while the second developed a fault that caused it to go into limp mode. These experiences have led me to question Renault's quality and reliability, especially considering the company's history of problems with some of its models in the past. It would be interesting to hear from others who may have had similar issues or better experiences with their Renault vehicles.

As a long-time owner of a Renault Clio I can attest to the brand's inconsistent quality and reliability. While their newer models like the Zoe have improved significantly, older generations still plague me with issues such as faulty wiring and engine problems.

I've owned two Renaults in the past and had significant issues with both. The first was a Megane that required multiple trips to the dealer for various problems, including a faulty engine. The second was an Captur that had persistent electrical gremlins and eventually broke down completely after only 18 months. While I've heard that their newer models have improved in this regard, my personal experience suggests that Renault still has some work to do in terms of quality and reliability.
