As a long-time Renault owner I can attest to their relatively high maintenance costs compared to some other brands. While my car has been reliable, I've noticed increased expenses around 5 years in with regards to parts and labour.

I've owned a 2015 Clio for 7 years now and have been extremely satisfied with its reliability. I've done all maintenance on time, including oil changes every 15,000 km, and it still runs like new. My brother had a 2008 Megane that had over 250,000 km on it when he finally sold it. The car was still going strong, although the engine did start to get a bit noisier towards the end. Overall, I think Renault's maintenance costs are reasonable and their cars have excellent durability.

I've owned my Renault Clio for over 100k miles and it still runs smoothly, with just one major repair which was covered under warranty. Overall I'm impressed by its durability and maintainability, but perhaps not as economical as some other brands in the long run.
