Can I fit a performance exhaust system on my standard Renault Clio?

Hi all, I'm looking to fit a performance exhaust system on my standard Renault Clio. Has anyone done this and if so what were the results in terms of power gain and any issues encountered? Are there any specific systems that are recommended for our model? Would love some advice from those with experience
