Help Needed: Troubleshooting my 1989's Wonky Speedometer

I'm having issues with my '89 Porsche's speedometer reading, it's wonky and inconsistent, sometimes showing high speeds for low RPMs and vice versa. I've checked the usual suspects like a faulty sender or loose connections but can't seem to pinpoint the problem. Any fellow Porschephiles have experience with this issue?
