Comparing Peugeot's Pricing Across Models and Trim Levels

I'm curious to see how Peugeot prices its models across different trim levels. I've noticed some significant price differences between similar Peugeots, and I think it would be helpful to have a thread where we can compare the pricing of various models. For example, the 208 Active starts at around £15k, while the 208 Allure costs around £18k. That's a £3k difference for just a couple of extra features. Meanwhile, the 308 GT Line starts at £20k, but you could pay over £25k for the same model with some additional extras. I'd love to see a comprehensive breakdown of Peugeot's pricing across its models and trim levels. Has anyone else noticed any significant price differences between similar models? Are there any specific trim levels or features that are worth the extra cost? Let's discuss!

I've noticed that while Peugeot offers competitive pricing on their base models, the prices tend to escalate significantly with each trim level, particularly when upgrading to higher-end features such as navigation or advanced safety systems.

I'm surprised to see that the base model 208 has a higher price point than some of the upper-trim level 308 models. I was expecting the newer car to have more advanced features and therefore be priced higher but it seems like Peugeot is trying to make up for lost ground with discounts on their older models

I recently compared the prices of several Peugeot models across different trim levels and was surprised to see how much variation there is in pricing for what seems to be similar features and specs. Does anyone have insight into the reasoning behind these price discrepancies?

I was surprised to see the price disparities across different trim levels of Peugeots. For instance, the base model of the 208 Active has a starting price of around £16,000, while the top-of-the-line GT Line variant costs over £23,000. That's an increase of almost £7,000 for some additional features like LED headlights and a larger touchscreen. Comparing this to other manufacturers, I think Peugeot could learn from how Volkswagen structures their pricing across different trim levels. The Golf Active might start at around £20,000, but the top-of-the-line GTI variant is still only around £25,000. What's your take on this? Do you think Peugeot should reconsider their pricing strategy to be more competitive with other brands in their segment?

I've compared prices across various Peugeot models and trim levels and was surprised to see significant differences in pricing even within the same model range. For example, a mid-level trim of the 308 can cost upwards of £20k, while a top-of-the-line trim is over £30k.
