I'd love to hear about your experiences with maintenance costs on your Nissans! Have you had any unexpected expenses that caught you off guard? What were the symptoms before the issue arose, and how did it get diagnosed?
Let's share our stories and learn from each other. Were there any specific services or repairs that seemed excessively priced? Are there any common issues that seem to plague certain models or years?
Sharing your experiences can help us better prepare for potential maintenance costs in the future. If you've had a particularly costly repair, I'm sure we'd all love to know what was done and how it affected your wallet.

I've had my 2015 Altima for over 5 years now and I've noticed that oil changes seem to be a bit more frequent than expected. My dealership recommends changing it every 5,000 miles, which is slightly less often than the recommended interval by Nissan themselves. This adds up quickly, especially considering I drive around 15,000 miles per year.
On top of that, my vehicle's battery has had to be replaced twice within a year due to sudden deaths despite being relatively new. The first replacement was covered under warranty, but the second one wasn't. Both times it cost me around $100 each.
I've also experienced issues with my car's infotainment system freezing up on me from time to time, which can be frustrating especially when you're trying to navigate through unfamiliar areas.
