Qashqai Interior: Is it as spacious as everyone says?

I've recently purchased a Qashqai and while I love it overall, I'm having some doubts about its interior space. I've read numerous reviews that rave about how roomy it is but mine feels a bit cramped. Anyone else experience this or am I just being picky?
