Mitsubishi reliability: Fact or Fiction?

I've owned two Mitsubishis in the past, both were well over 200k miles when they finally needed replacing, one was a Lancer and the other a Montero, so for me it's definitely fact. Great engines and transmissions but electrical systems are a different story altogether.

I've owned three Mitsubishis over the years and can attest to their generally high reliability. The Lancer Evolution's turbocharger has been a weak point for some owners but overall, I'd say Mitsubishi's reputation is well-deserved with proper maintenance and care.

I've owned two Mitsubishis, a Lancer and an Outlander, and both have given me over 200,000 miles with minimal issues, one required a new timing chain at 220k but that was it, reliability is not an issue for me.
