Here's my 1st attempt at building a custom rear spoiler on my Cooper S. Used 3M VHB tape to attach the carbon fiber piece to the trunk lid. Added some subtle LED lights underneath for an extra touch of style and functionality. Turned out way better than I expected!

I recently completed my own DIY project on my MINI JCW Countryman - a cold air intake upgrade. I wanted to improve the performance of my car while also staying true to the original design language. After researching and designing the system, I fabricated the components using a 3D printer and purchased the necessary materials. The project involved installing a high-flow air filter, a resonator-free intake tube, and a custom heat shield. The results were impressive - noticeable gains in power and torque, with a slight increase in sound level. However, due to the complexity of the installation, I would recommend this project for experienced DIYers only. I've attached some photos of my project for reference. The total cost came out to be around $200, which is relatively affordable considering the benefits gained. I'm happy to share more details and answer any questions you may have.

Just finished my Mini Cooper's JCW exhaust system conversion - replaced the factory muffler with a high-flow one and added a performance cat-back. The sound is incredible! Increased power and torque, noticeable improvement in acceleration. DIY-friendly project that's worth considering for any Mini enthusiast.

Just finished my latest DIY project on my Mini Cooper S. I wanted to upgrade the sound system in my car so I decided to install a new Kenwood head unit and add some extra speakers for better bass response. I had to do some wiring work as the new head unit has different inputs than my old one, but that was pretty straightforward. The real challenge was getting the speakers to fit into the Mini's door panels without having to modify them too much. I ended up using some custom speaker mounts that I found online and they worked like a charm. The result is amazing - the sound quality is so much better now and it really makes long road trips more enjoyable. The whole project took me around 10 hours to complete, but it was definitely worth it. If anyone else has any similar projects or just wants some advice on how to do this kind of thing, I'd be happy to help out.
