How to disable the driver assistance systems on my S-Class

I'm having issues with the Driver Assistance Systems on my S-Class and was wondering if it's possible to disable them completely. I've had problems with the adaptive cruise control interfering with my driving style and would like to turn it off altogether, but can't seem to find a setting in the menus to do so.
