C-Class vs. Audi A4 - Which one has better fuel efficiency?

I'm curious to know how our C-Class stacks up against its main competitor, the Audi A4, when it comes to fuel efficiency. The C-Class has always been known for its excellent MPG, but I've heard that the latest A4 models have made some significant improvements in this area. Which one do you guys think has better fuel economy?
