Is the McLaren P1 Worth the $1.15 Million Price Tag?

I'm torn about the McLaren P1's value proposition. On one hand, it's an incredible piece of engineering with exceptional performance and handling. However, at $1.15 million, I think some owners might be overpaying for the brand prestige rather than the car itself. Is the exclusivity and bragging rights worth this price?
