What's the Best 4x4 Lift Kit on the Market?

As many of us know, the stock suspension on our Land Rovers can be a bit... underwhelming when it comes to off-road capabilities. I'm looking to upgrade my 3.0 SDV6 LR3 with a lift kit and want to hear from others who have done the same. Specifically, I'd love to hear about any 4x4 lift kits you've used on your LR3/LR4 (I know they share many parts). What worked well? What didn't? Were there any issues with clearance or compatibility? Some specific things I'm looking for: * Lift height: How much did you go up? * Components included: Was it just the springs and shocks, or were there other components like skid plates or transfer case protection? * Brand and model: Which company's kit did you use? * Budget: What was the total cost, including installation if applicable? I've done some research and come across a few different options (e.g. Torsion's "4x" kit, ARB's 4x4 kit), but I'd love to hear from others who have real-world experience with these or other kits. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I've used the Discovery S and Range Rover SVO models with the ARB and Old Man Emu lift kits respectively and found them to be well-engineered and reliable options.

I've been using OME 2.5" lift kit on my 2018 LR4 and it's been a game changer. The ride quality is still surprisingly smooth despite the added height and it's given me just enough clearance to tackle some pretty rough terrain. I've also had good experiences with the Biltwell and Icon lifts, but OME has always been my go-to for its reliability and versatility.

I've been running my Series III with an Old Man Emu lift kit for years now and it's been a game changer. The added clearance has allowed me to tackle some serious off-roading adventures without worrying about damaging the axles or CVs. Highly recommend!
