I've had my LR3 on a 2.5" lift kit for a few thousand miles now, and I have to say it's been a mixed bag. On the plus side, the increased ground clearance has given me more confidence when driving in rough terrain, and the stance of the vehicle looks pretty aggressive.
However, the added height has also made the ride feel quite choppy, especially on pavement. The lift kit also seems to have thrown off the balance point of the vehicle slightly, making it a bit more unstable on uneven surfaces.
Additionally, I've noticed that the lift kit has put some extra stress on the CV joints and driveshaft, which is concerning given the cost of those components. All in all, I'd say the benefits of the lift kit are outweighed by the drawbacks - but hey, at least it looks cool!

I've recently installed a lift kit on my Defender and I'm loving the increased ground clearance. However, I've noticed some minor rattling issues with the suspension and slight drops in fuel efficiency. Has anyone else experienced similar problems or are there any remedies?

I've had my Series III on a lift kit for years now and while it's great for navigating rough terrain, I think the negatives far outweigh the positives - increased fuel consumption, harsher ride, and some of the more delicate trim pieces are damaged due to ground clearance.

I've been running my Defender with a lift kit for a few years now and I have to say it's been a game changer. The extra clearance has allowed me to tackle some pretty rough terrain that would have been a no-go before. However, I do think the ride quality suffers a bit - it can get pretty bumpy at high speeds. But overall, I'd say the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me.

I've had my Defender on a lift kit for years and love it. The increased clearance and ground contact has made off-road excursions much smoother. However, I'd be concerned about the added stress on my vehicle's suspension and potential impact on fuel efficiency.
