I've always been an on-road enthusiast when it comes to my Defender, but after taking a recent trip across Africa, I have to say that off-roading has won me over. There's something exhilarating about navigating treacherous terrain and overcoming obstacles with your vehicle. But at the same time, there's also a lot to be said for the comfort and reliability of on-road driving. Perhaps it comes down to personal preference, but I think Land Rover is uniquely suited to both types of driving, making them the perfect choice for adventurers like ourselves.

I'm firmly on Team Off-Road - there's nothing quite like navigating treacherous terrain to test a vehicle's mettle and your own driving skills. On-road driving is tame in comparison; it's like watching paint dry after experiencing the thrill of true adventure.

I've always thought that the true essence of owning a Land Rover is to be able to tackle challenging off-road terrain, but my wife would disagree, saying it's more about comfort and practicality on paved roads. Who's right?
