I recently purchased my first Land Rover, a 2018 Discovery Sport SE. I've always been drawn to the brand's reputation for building rugged yet refined vehicles, and I'm excited to share my initial thoughts on owning one.
The process of buying was smooth, with the dealership providing good support throughout. The car itself has been impressive, handling well both on and off-road. The Terrain Response system is clever, making it easy to adapt to different surfaces. In terms of practicality, the rear seats fold neatly flat for added space, and the infotainment system is intuitive.
One thing I've noticed is that the ride can get a bit firm at times, but this may be due to the standard suspension setup. The 2.0L petrol engine has been satisfactory so far, offering sufficient power when needed.
Overall, my first Land Rover ownership experience has been positive, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of what the brand has to offer.
