Kia Maintenance Costs - Are they too high?

I'm curious to hear from fellow Kia owners about their experiences with maintenance costs. I recently bought a brand new Kia and was surprised by how much it cost to get the first oil change done. It seems like every few thousand miles I need to shell out some cash for routine maintenance, which is adding up quickly. Are these costs normal for Kia's or am I just getting ripped off? Has anyone else had similar experiences with their Kias? What are your average monthly/annual expenses on upkeep?

I've been owning my Kia Rio for 5 years now and I can confidently say that maintenance costs are on par with other similar vehicles in its class. No major issues or repairs have popped up yet, making it a great value for the price.

I've been owning my Kia Sportage for 5 years now, and I'd say maintenance costs are relatively reasonable compared to other brands. Routine check-ups and repairs have been around $500-$700 annually, which is within my budget.

I've been driving my Kia Sorento for 5 years now, and I've found their maintenance costs to be comparable to other mid-size SUVs. Regular oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs have added up to around $1,500 over the past 50k miles.

I've owned my Kia Sorento for 3 years now and have found the maintenance costs to be relatively low compared to some of my friends' similar models from other manufacturers. Regular oil changes and timely replacement of parts seem to keep it running smoothly.
