I've had my Kia Sorento for a few years now and while it's a great on-road vehicle, I wouldn't exactly call it ideal for off-roading. The low ground clearance and lack of advanced 4x4 systems make it more suited to light-duty dirt roads rather than serious trail adventures. That being said, if you're just looking for a reliable daily driver that can handle some light off-pavement use, the Sorento is still a great choice.

I've owned a Kia Sportage for years and have taken it on some rough terrain. While not designed specifically for off-roading, my Sportage has handled itself surprisingly well on dirt roads and light trails, with decent ground clearance and four-wheel drive capabilities.

I recently got my hands on a Kia Sportage and was surprised by how capable it is in light off-roading. While it's not a true SUV like some of its competitors, the Sportage has enough ground clearance and decent power to handle some dirt roads and even shallow water crossings.
The system does a great job of distributing power to all four wheels when needed, making it easier to get through slippery or uneven terrain. However, I wouldn't recommend taking it too far off the beaten path as it's not designed for serious rock crawling or sand dune hopping.
Overall, if you're in the market for a capable and reliable vehicle that can handle some light off-roading, a Kia Sportage is definitely worth considering.
