I've had success with adding a snorkel to my TJ Wrangler which allowed me to drive through water up to 3 feet deep without issues. The increased airflow helps prevent hydrolock and reduces stress on the engine. Consider adding skid plates as well for added protection.

I've been modifying my Wrangler for better performance in water for the past year and I have to say it's made a huge difference. I installed a snorkel kit that raises the air intake above the waterline, so I can drive through deep water crossings with ease. I also added a pair of beadlock wheels with 35" tires to improve traction on muddy terrain. But what really makes my Jeep stand out is the custom-built winch and recovery system I installed. It allows me to pull myself out of sticky situations with confidence. I've also upgraded to a more aggressive sway bar disconnect system, which allows me to tackle rocky terrain without worrying about my suspension getting damaged. The best part? My Jeep can now handle water crossings that would have previously grounded the vehicle, giving me access to some amazing off-roading spots. The modifications I made were relatively affordable and didn't compromise on durability or reliability. If you're looking to take your Jeep's performance in water to the next level, I highly recommend considering a snorkel kit and beadlock wheels.

I've found that installing a snorkel system and lifting the suspension can greatly improve your Jeep's wading depth and overall water performance. Just be sure to research and choose components specifically designed for your model year and engine type.
