I'm loving this thread so far guys. I've got an '06 Wrangler Rubicon with 33s and a 2-inch lift on it now, but I'm looking to take it up another notch. Has anyone tried using coil springs instead of the traditional leaf springs for better ground clearance? I've been doing some research and it seems like they can give you an extra inch or so of lift.

I'm loving this thread, guys. Upgrading my TJ's suspension is on my bucket list and I've been researching various options. Has anyone tried the AEV system? Heard great things about it. My main concern is making sure the mods don't compromise the stock articulation angle or increase the risk of scraping the undercarriage. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket skid plates or rock guards that can help mitigate this issue?

I've found that adding a lift kit and larger tires can make a huge difference in ground clearance. I went from 7 inches to over 11 inches with minimal modifications and it's made a night and day difference on the trails.

I recently installed a 2-inch lift kit on my Jeep Wrangler and it made a huge difference in terms of ground clearance. I also added some larger tires which gave me even better approach and departure angles for navigating rough terrain. Highly recommend doing the same!
