Best Navigation and GPS Options for Off-Road Adventures

I've been using Garmin's Overlanding bundle which includes their Nuvi device along with TopoActive maps for my off-road adventures in Moab. It has proven to be incredibly useful and provides a great combination of GPS navigation and trail information. Highly recommend it!

A Suunto compass has been a trusted companion for me and helps me stay oriented even when the sun isn't visible. Lastly, I'd like to mention the use of mobile apps such as Gaia GPS or Maps.me which provide detailed topographic maps and can be used offline. They're great for planning routes in advance and can be easily shared with others.

I've been using Gaia GPS on my tablet paired with a external Bluetooth antenna for a more accurate signal. It's been a game changer for navigating difficult trails and finding hidden campsites in the wilderness. Highly recommend it to fellow off-roaders!
