I've owned my Q50 for 5 years now and I have to say that maintenance costs have been surprisingly low. Of course, I've been diligent about keeping up with the recommended schedule - oil changes every 7k miles, tire rotations, etc. But aside from a few minor issues like a faulty sensor and a clogged air filter, everything has run smoothly.
My mechanic told me that Infiniti's tend to be relatively reliable and that parts are generally easy to come by. I've also noticed that the newer models have even more advanced technology to help prevent problems in the first place.
That being said, it's worth noting that if you do start having issues, the repair costs can add up quickly. I had a friend who had to replace her QX50's transmission at around 80k miles and it was a pretty pricey fix. But overall, I think Infiniti maintenance costs are on par with other luxury brands like Mercedes and BMW.
