How to properly care for your ESQ's leather seats (and prevent cracking)

I'm looking to maintain the originality of my ESQ's leather seats for as long as possible. As the material ages and deteriorates, I'd like to know what maintenance steps can be taken to prevent cracking. Any advice on using conditioners, protectants or other treatments would be greatly appreciated, especially those with experience in caring for luxury vehicle interiors.
