How to Fix the Common Issues with the Honda Civic's CVT Transmission

I'm experiencing some issues with my Honda Civic's CVT transmission and I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems. It seems to be slipping out of gear or not engaging properly at times. Has anyone found a solution or are there any known issues with this model year?
