Maintenance Costs for Fiat Vehicles

I recently purchased a Fiat 500L and was surprised to find that maintenance costs were relatively high. The recommended oil change interval is every 5,000 miles, which seems more frequent than some of my friends' other vehicles. However, after doing some research, I found that the higher mileage between oil changes is due in part to the car's turbocharged engine.
