Fiat's Safety Record: Is it Reliable?

I've been a proud owner of a Fiat 500 for over 5 years now and I have to say that my experience with the car's safety record has been very positive. Not only did it receive a 5-star Euro NCAP rating when it was first released, but I've also had no issues whatsoever with its safety features during the time I've owned it. The car's stability control system has always performed flawlessly and I've never encountered any situation where I felt unsafe behind the wheel. That being said, I do think Fiat could improve on some aspects of their safety record, such as the lack of advanced driver assistance systems in some of their models.
