458 Italia: How does its V8 engine compare to other sports cars?

I'm curious to know how the V8 engine in my 458 Italia stacks up against its counterparts in other sports cars. The combination of a naturally aspirated V8 and a F1-inspired transmission makes for an incredible driving experience, but I'd love to hear from others who have driven or owned similar cars, such as the Porsche 911 or Nissan GT-R.
