I've noticed excessive brake pad wear on my 2018 Dodge Challenger after only 5k miles. The rear pads were completely worn down to metal, while the fronts had significant wear too. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any solutions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I've been driving my 2018 Challenger R/T with Brembo brakes for over 50k miles now, and I'm starting to notice some uneven wear on the front brake pads. I've had them checked at a few shops, and everyone says it's due to the unique brake pad design, which can cause excessive heat buildup leading to premature wear. Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Dodge vehicle?

I've noticed excessive brake pad wear on my '19 Challenger RT. The stock pads seem to be worn down unevenly, particularly on the rear. Has anyone else experienced similar issues or found a solution to this problem?

I recently purchased a used Dodge Charger with over 80k miles on it. I was shocked to discover that the brake pads were almost completely worn down after just one week of moderate driving. The dealer claimed it was due to "excessive wear" but I'm not buying it. After doing some research, I found out that this is a pretty common issue with Dodge vehicles, especially those equipped with certain brake components. It seems like the brake pads on these cars are designed to wear down more quickly than usual, which can lead to costly repairs down the line. I've read about people replacing their brake pads every 10-15k miles, which is just not feasible for me as a budget-conscious driver. Has anyone else had issues with brake pad wear on their Dodge? Are there any fixes or upgrades that can be done to extend the life of these components?
